Ass. Prof. Wojciech Kaźmierczak, MD, PhD is a Head of the Department of Sensory Organs Examination of Faculty of Health Sciences in Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. Until 2016, he fulfilled the role of an Assistant Professor at the Department of Pathophysiology of the Hearing and Balance System of the Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz. He graduated from the Medical Academy and the Faculty of Medicine of Collegium Medicum of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Bydgoszcz. He got the 1st level of specialisation in otorhinolaryngology (Warsaw, 2009), and the 2nd level in audiology and phoniatry in (Łódź, 2013). His results on exam of specialisation of audiology and phoniatry were recognised as the best results and awarded a Distinction by Minister of Health (16th April 2014). Following the decision of the Faculty Council of the Faculty of Military Medicine of Medical University of Łódź, he got an Ass. Prof. degree in 2015.
He has been a participant of many national and international courses, for instance: Aarhus University Hospital, Aarhus, Dania; New York University, New York, U.S.A; Otoneurological Diagnostic and Rehabilitation Center, Berlin, Germany; House Research Institue, Los Angeles, U.S.A.
He pursues his clinical work in the areas of otosurgery, rhinosurgery, oncology, audiology, otoneurology and phoniatry. Moreover, he is an author of many scientific papers (in the number exceeding 100) in the important medical journals indexed in the Journal Citation Reports and the lists of scientific journals of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. He is an active member of numerous scientific courses, workshops, conferences and congresses.
